Lume Deodorant Reviews

Decided to give this product a try.
Placed the order for their trial package which was supposed to have deodorant stick, body deodorant cream/lotion, and body wash.
+ “mystery gift”.
What I received was 3 body deodorant cream/lotions. One came peony scented, which I guess was a substitute for the unscented item that was ordered.
Very disappointed at the order fulfillment process, and will never buy or recommend this product to anyone.

I bought some Lume for my husband and I. The first time we tried it it worked. We have tried it several more times and it does nothing. My armpits get all sweaty and smells in no time and my husband says his does too. And it certainly doesn't last no 72 hours that is for sure. I will not buy it again.

This product smells awful and I do not recommend it! The commercials are disgusting and so it the doctor! This commercial should not be on television where children can see and hear this so called doctor describe various body parts! She is repulsive! Do not buy this deodorant and change or discontinue your commercials!

This may have at one time been a good (although way too expensive) product, but not anymore. I have read many comments that people feel like the formula has changed, I think it's true. I agree with all the folks over the last year that have said, the products stink, makes them smell worse, the company will not offer refund as advertised, they only make excuses that the customer is "using the product wrong", they try to sell you their laundry detergent stating that will help. There is no way to let a review on their website, because they don't want anyone to know how many unsatisfied customers there are. You can not e-mail them or call, only a chat line is available where you only get canned/pre-written responses from the "customer service rep" who will not do anything but waste your time defending Lume and blaming the customer. . . . steer clear of this company and their products. Don't waste your money.

I tried Lume for the first time last week. It had a terrible smell when I began to sweat. Sweat smell is better than the Lume smell.

I've used Lume for years with great success. The scented products smelled a little funky but tolerable for a product that worked. They recently made changes and the new formula is SO strong and I can smell it from across the house when my husband uses it. Not only that but it BURNS so badly when applied!

I reached out to customer service inquiring about what specific ingredient has changed that causes the burning. I wanted to do some research to decide if it is safe for my daughter to use. Long story short: customer service gave me the runaround, gas lighted me, wouldn't give me a straight answer, and ended the chat without any resolution. They refused to acknowledge that I was saying the product burned and used other words like "tingling" and "warming" to dance around the issue.

So much for brand loyalty. I am looking for a new product line now.

I have used Lume off and on for years. I don’t know if the formula has changed or my skin is used to it but it does absolutely nothing for me. Several of my friends as well as my wife have had the exact same experience - it works for a bit and then stops. We have switched to Ballsy and are much happier.

My wife and I have had to explain to our 12 year old daughter that normal bathing or showering is sufficient
for normal hygiene purposes. Sharon Klingman is making a small fortune exploiting female fears of body odors. Unless you are very unusual or have an infection, you don't have a need to worry. And it's highly doubtful that this product will do anything that soap and water won't.

If I died tomorrow not seeing your nasty spokes person with her nasty feet commercial I would die a happy man

Too bad I have to select at least one star, as these commercials rate no star at all! Ladies, imagine yourselves in your most humiliating position in your life...your feet up in this OB/Gyn's stirrups. You have come for help and this person (definitely NOT a doctor) is sniffing your crotch and taking notes! How utterly disgusting.

Absolutely doesn’t work, but arm & hammer deodorant for a few dollars does work

They will take you money and never deliver you product There is no customer service to contact. No number to call or response from emails. Buyers beware!!!!

Update: Finally delivered after multiple complaints.

Had this given to me as a gift, because friends now how bad I sweat 😓 but no matter what $10.00 deodorant works better. Thanks I'll stick with what works. Secret

It isn't worth the hassle of having to get it SHIPPED!
Its pretty pricey for deodorant, then the over 10 day wait to get it.
One cream was defective and LUME acted like I did not apply it correctly. It was coming out like cottage cheese, so I threw it out after they refused to refund or replace it.
I'm not buying anymore due to those valid complaints.
I did not receive my last order, (of 3) so I ended up needing to call VISA for a dispute.
Customer service is very slow and annoying.

Bought the unscented cream, it stinks like ass!! I cannot get over the smell, Can't tell if it will work because the smell is repulsive ( and I bought the unscented!)
